We are excited to welcome an experienced, entrepreneurial individual to our growing On team as a Sales Representative for the PAD (Performance All Day = Lifestyle).
Our success is built on achieving sustained growth with Japan’s leading retailers and major multi-brand sports stores.
This role will take on the responsibility of a Sales Representative, aiming for strong collaboration with assigned accounts, driving sales, and ensuring balanced, sustainable business expansion.
Your mission
– Growth Strategy: Develop and execute On’s business growth strategy for assigned accounts and search new accounts/business opportunities. Realize On’s desired premium brand representation in collaboration with the account.
– Engage customers: Ensure seamless and effective communication between clients and the On Japan team and build strong engagements with accounts.
– Strategic Planning: Set clear goals and KPIs for each partner, developing and executing tailored customer plans.
– Sell-out Management: Analyze sales and inventory with a sale planner’s support, build appropriate Sell-out strategies and actions while maintaining close ties with clients. Develop marketing/events collaboration, execute in-store visual merchandising that balances On’s premium brand identity with an exceptional customer shopping experience.
– Inventory Optimization: Analyze client performance data to propose optimized delivery and assortment plans.
Your story
– Experience: 7+ years of experience in B2B Sales (Sports or fashion industry preferred) or as a Buyer in the retail industry.
– Initiative Proactive in generating creative ideas, combined with the humility to listen to and integrate others’ perspectives.
– Logical Thinking: Ability to logically connect creative ideas with sales figures and data.
– Autonomy: Highly self-motivated, able to work effectively without close supervision while collaborating with the team as needed.
– Analytical Proficiency: Well-versed in sales forecasting, reporting, and analysis, with a high degree of comfort handling numbers.
– Language: Native-level Japanese (Writing/Speaking) is required; business-level English is a plus but not mandatory.
Meet the team
As a member of the On Japan Sales Team, you will work closely with other Sales Representatives, Marketing team, and Customer Service teammates within Japan. You will support the assigned major fashion/lifestyle stores, focusing on sustainable growth.
