Your Internship Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Intern People & Culture EMEA, you will support the EMEA People & Culture Team in different operational tasks and strategic initiatives. You’ll have the opportunity to elevate your early career path by learning the inner workings of a fast-growing global sports apparel company, through hands-on experience with colleagues across multiple departments, as well as with external partners and guests throughout the region.
The Intern People & Culture EMEA is part of the Arc’teryx EMEA People & Culture team, reporting directly into the Learning & Development Lead EMEA, and supporting the rest of the People & Culture team.
The position is only open as a mandatory internship position in Germany, and the candidate must be working on-site in our Garching office (near Munich), with possibility for remote work up to 2 days per week. The internship is for 6 months with a starting date in September 2026. Candidates must have the right to work in Germany.
If you were a Talent Development & Culture Activation Intern now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- You support Employee Experiences & Culture Activations, such as EMEA Summit (in-person event), Winter Celebration (virtual/hybrid) and more. This will strengthen your event planning and execution skills in cross-functional teams
- Support our regional Basecamp Onboarding program (organization, execution, facilitation)
- Support Talent Development offerings, by serving as technical support during virtual and in-person workshops
- You own an internship project: “Live It Playbook EMEA” (creation of a regional collection for team offsite ideas)
- You support “Leadership and Gear Library 2.0”: inventory management, rental system improvement
- You support the development and regionalization of new workshops.
- You support internal communication tasks (to workshop attendees and employees)
- You assist with other administrative tasks as required.
Are you our next Intern Talent Development & Culture Activation EMEA?
- You are currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s program, studying HR, business, or other fields relevant to the position, and must complete a mandatory internship as part of your degree.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You are determined, diligent, pro-active, attentive and energetic
- You thrive in a fast moving, multi-project work environment
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You have experience working with the Office pack.
- You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.
- Experience such as a first internship and/or relevant extracurricular activities is a plus.
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it!
