In short

Whether you’re looking to jump start your career or gain first hands-on experience in a new field, an internship at On offers you a unique growth experience, the chance to make an impact from day 1 and contribute to On’s growth journey. We are looking for fresh ideas, curious minds and passionate individuals ready to make a difference. Our internships generally last 6 months and you will be fully embedded in a team.
– Start date: September 1st
– Duration: 6 months
– Prerequisite: Interest in area relevant to the internship, passion for On, right to work in EU / Switzerland
– Note: This is a paid internship

Your mission

– Range Planning Support: Assist in building seasonal assortments (by gender, category, and price tier) aligned with target consumer and brand positioning.
– Market & Consumer Insights: Gather and synthesize insights from key markets, competitors, and trends to inform product decisions.
– Product Lifecycle Support: Contribute to go-to-market preparation including product briefs, sell-in tools, and launch readiness tracking.
– Data Analysis: Support performance tracking (sell-in/sell-through, pricing, segmentation) and derive actionable recommendations.
– Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with design, development, marketing, and regional teams to ensure alignment and execution.
– Operational Excellence: Maintain merchandising tools, line plans, and presentations with high attention to detail.

Your story

– Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion or Sports Management.
– Passionate and knowledgeable about sportswear, footwear, and fashion trends as well as On and its products.
– Analytical mindset with solid Excel / Google Sheets skills.
– You should be eager to develop your data analysis and reporting skills to draw clear and actionable insights from numbers.
– Structured thinker with strong attention to detail and organization
– Clear communicator with the ability to work across teams and cultures
– Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
– You’re proficient in written and spoken English- as this is our shared professional language at On. Additional languages are a plus!

Meet the team

Support the Global Footwear Merchandising team in building commercially successful and consumer-relevant product ranges. You will help translate consumer insights and market trends into actionable merchandising inputs, contributing to the planning and execution of global product launches.
