VF Corporation is hiring a Supply Chain Finance Sr. Analyst (Fixed term 1 year contract) to join the Supply Chain Finance team based in Stabio, CH.

As part of the EMEA Supply Chain Finance team, the person will collect and analyse financial and Supply Chain information to support effective decision making. The role will contribute to the preparation, development and analysis of Supply Chain costs, providing reliable support to Supply Chain Finance Management and Supply Chain Operations teams across planning and controlling activities.

The position will play an important role in ensuring continuity and quality in the team’s day-to-day forecasting and reporting processes, supporting the analysis of cost trends, variances and business performance across the assigned perimeter.

The ideal candidate holds a post-secondary education (Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering or a related field), has experience in business controlling, and combines strong analytical skills with a precise and collaborative approach.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support the team in month end/quarter-end forecast and budget activities across the assigned Supply Chain cost perimeter;
  • Prepare financial analysis and planning information related to product cost, including purchase price variance, logistics, freight and duty expenses;
  • Support the analysis of variances across the four European Distribution Centres, focusing on variable and fixed costs such as supplies, depreciation, occupancy, temporary and fixed labour;
  • Support the analysis of variances within the Customer Service area;
  • Analyse, reconcile and prepare reports to inform management of variances versus forecast, plan and previous year;
  • Contribute to the roll-out of Supply Chain projects and support the team in related financial activities.

Skills for Success

  • Education: University degree in Finance or Engineering
  • Experience: Proven experience in financial business analysis, preferably in cost controlling
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Technical skills: Strong knowledge of computer systems (MS Office suite), with particular emphasis on reporting tools, including BPC
  • Soft skills: Precise, responsible, proactive and communicative, with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently when needed
