As a visionary and results-driven Executive Product Leader, you will lead the strategic direction and long-term architecture of On’s Performance Product Portfolio (Running, Outdoor, Athletes). This pivotal role demands a mastery of technical innovation strategically fused with deep-seated consumer insights, defining the global trajectory of On’s performance categories.

You will provide visionary and strategic leadership for all performance verticals, ensuring alignment with On’s global mission and long-term business objectives. As a strategic yet hands-on leader, you will bring cutting-edge products to market while optimizing processes, fostering innovation, and ensuring operational excellence across all functions.

With deep expertise in leading global Product organizations, you will inspire and mentor a talented product strategy team, setting new benchmarks for collaboration and innovation. You will ensure our product pipeline is both agile and world-class, balancing hands-on involvement to impact the present with strategic and visionary thinking to influence the company’s long-term trajectory.

Your mission

– Define and drive overarching product strategy for the performance division in support of the company’s brand vision, mission and growth objectives
– Lead, grow and enable the global product strategy team for our performance verticals, ensuring seamless collaboration across product innovation, design,and product creation teams
– Partner closely with innovation, product creation and design teams to ensure all product initiatives are aligned with our vision of becoming the most premium sportswear brand globally, rooted in performance.
– Build and scale a high-performance team that thrives on cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence, while fostering an environment of inclusivity, development, and accountability.
– Foster leadership at every level, with a clear focus on developing and nurturing the next level of leadership within the organization. Mentor, coach, and empower emerging leaders to ensure a robust succession pipeline that sustains long-term success
– Establish a clear vision for how channel strategy, brand strategy and product strategy together orchestrate the product portfolios lifecycle across our performance vertical.
– Lead with a focus on vision and innovation, ensuring that On stays ahead of industry trends and maintains its position as a leader in the performance market.

Your story

– 15+ years of global leadership experience in high-performing product organizations, ideally within sportswear industries
– 10+ years of experience leading large teams and the ability to inspire and execute against high growth business objectives
– Visionary and entrepreneurial product leader at heart with a passion for building and mentoring world-class teams, capable of fostering innovation and delivering superior results
– Track record of building and improving processes and systems in complex, multinational and cross-functional organizations, driving operational efficiencies
– Expertise in end-to-end product creation
– Profound experience collaborating with design, product creation, and GTM teams at the executive level, acting as a key partner in defining and executing product roadmaps
– Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels, internally and externally
