Patagonia is an outdoor apparel company founded in 1973. At a time when all life on earth is under threat of extinction, we aim to use the resources we have—our business, our investments, our voice and our imagination—to influence changes needed to protect our planet. A registered B Corporation and founding member of 1% for the Planet, Patagonia is recognised internationally for its commitment to product quality and environmental activism, contributing over $145 million in grants and in-kind donations to thousands of grassroots environmental groups around the world.
Your role:
We are in business to save our home planet. You’ll help us achieve this by supporting Patagonia’s commitment to product integrity and circularity and by coordinating quality control and repair operations across EMEA.
The role manages inspections, repair workflows, and documentation, while collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and global quality partners to ensure service standards are met. By maintaining process consistency and monitoring performance, the coordinator helps extend product life, resolve quality issues, and improve operational efficiency.
Main tasks:
• Quality Oversight
Coordinate product inspections and audits across European distribution centers by applying Acceptable Quality Limit protocols and collaborating with global quality teams to ensure Patagonia’s standards are met and remediations are addressed.
• Repair Workflow Management
Track and manage repair by categorizing, prioritizing, and monitoring completion against service standards, SLAs, and volume targets to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution, including monthly invoicing control. Build and sign Service Agreements.
• Quality Project Coordination
Coordinate the implementation of region-specific quality initiatives by collaborating with logistics, IT, third-party partners, and the global quality team within operational frameworks to improve processes and support decision-making.
• Documentation Management
Maintain and update repair and quality guidelines, SOPs, and workflows in central systems to ensure process consistency, team training, and alignment with Patagonia’s standards.
• Repair & Vendor Liaison
Coordinate with stores, repair centers, and third-party vendors by resolving operational issues, communicating process changes, and ensuring service consistency across external partners.
What we’re looking for:
• An inclusive mindset
• Minimum 2 years of experience in managing Third party vendors with negotiation skills involved
• Full understanding of Product Quality Control
To assess incoming goods using Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) protocols, identify defects, and coordinate remediations in collaboration with global quality teams and third-party partners
• Full understanding of Repair Process Management
To coordinate repair workflows, ensuring correct categorization, prioritization, and completion in line with brand and service standards
• Good understanding of Process Documentation
To write, update, and maintain repair and quality procedures, SOPs, and forms in shared systems to ensure consistency and clarity across teams and markets
• Good understanding of Stakeholder Coordination
To communicate effectively with stores, vendors, and internal teams, providing timely updates on repair progress, quality concerns, and process changes
• Good understanding of SLA and KPI Tracking
To monitor turnaround times, service level compliance, and repair volumes, escalating risks or delays to ensure operational targets are met
• Third-Party Relationship Management and Negotiation
To build and maintain effective partnerships with external service providers/vendors, negotiate service terms and performance expectations, monitor compliance with contractual agreements, and drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and service delivery
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus
• A love of the outdoors
• An interest in saving our home planet and making a positive impact through your work
