Our Talent (HR) team is expanding with the growth of On and we are looking for an experienced HR person to join our growing team in Brazil. You will have the opportunity to shape On’s people agenda collaborating with the team on a variety of people related topics and providing efficient and effective support to employees and leaders. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, efficiency and optimization, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and who is skilled at thinking outside the box. Experience with HR practices in Retail is also desired.
Your mission
– Act as a strategic partner to the business, serving as the main point of contact for all HR/ Talent related topics, and advising leaders and team members.
– Shape how On embeds and evolves its culture and ways of working.
You will manage all day-to-day employee lifecycle operations including onboarding, payroll, benefits, off-boarding, in close partnerships with the Talent (“HR”) team and leaders.
– Managing different talent queries ranging from onboarding through off-boarding, and everything in between. This includes: payroll, absence management, workplace guidelines. Team member changes (contract and systems changes), reference letter creation, support with local documents and overall support with ad-hoc queries that come through.
– You will evaluate, drive and implement process, guidelines and workflow optimization, like performance management, individual and team development, FTE planning and etc – always looking for opportunities to automate and improve
– Employee relations: Manage and maintain positive relations with team members, through development of employee relations policies, handling employee grievances, and providing guidance and support on Talent-related matters.
– Act as an advisor on local labor laws (CLT) ensuring all employment practices are compliant with local legislation.
– Be the main point of contact with labor Unions, managing relations and attending committee meetings.
Your story
– You bring 6+ years of experience in talent business partnering or human resources roles within a premium global retailer or high-growth omnichannel brand
– Expert knowledge of Brazilian labor law (CLT) and hands-on experience managing complex payroll, benefits, and statutory compliance requirements for a diverse workforce
– Proven track record of navigating union relations and collective bargaining processes within the Brazilian market to ensure business continuity and fair labor practices
– Experience leveraging Workday or similar enterprise HRIS platforms to analyze people data, optimize workflows, and inform strategic decision-making
– Demonstrated ability to navigate a global-local matrix, successfully translating central strategies into impactful regional execution while managing multiple stakeholders
– Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English, with the ability to build trust and influence across different levels of the organization
