We are looking for fresh ideas, curious minds and passionate individuals ready to make a difference. Our internships generally last 6 months and you will be fully embedded in a team.

Your mission

– Dedicated Mentorship: Receive direct mentorship and regular code reviews from the Head of Architecture. This is a unique opportunity to learn the principles of Engineering Excellence (quality, efficiency, and accountability) from a senior leader invested in your personal growth.
– Develop Impactful Architecture: Contribute directly to our key 2026 projects by creating the critical end-to-end Proof-of-Concepts that validate our strategic vision.
– Explore Agentic AI: Use the latest AI toolsets as an aid to write high-quality code and learn to deploy intelligent agents at runtime, leveraging the latest Google LLM models to build autonomous agents.
– Contribute to Key Projects: Learn how to contribute production-grade code to key projects at On, helping us build scalable solutions for complex platform engineering challenges.
– Experience Engineering at Scale: Gain hands-on exposure to core infrastructure and learn to deploy resilient systems capable of handling On’s massive global traffic volume without breaking.

Meet the team

You will join the Strategic Architecture team. This role is uniquely designed as a direct technical internship with the Head of Architecture, offering you a panoramic view of our entire technology landscape.

You will act as a trusted partner to the Senior Architecture Leader, gaining transparent access to high-level technical strategy and decision-making. We act as the Expert Architecture Team for On, designing the technology foundation that powers our rapidly scaling global business.

One of the key areas you may contribute to is our Operations technology, which acts as the “Digital Twin” of our business. This engine optimizes how we ship products to millions of customers worldwide, enabling the smarter, sustainable decisions that drive our global hyper-growth.
