As the Specialist – Analytics & Strategy Enablement, you will provide critical research and analytical support to empower data-driven decision making across the Americas region. Reporting to the Head of Analytics & Strategy Enablement, you will contribute to the region’s strategic goals by transforming raw data into actionable commercial insights. This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of performance sportswear while supporting high-priority business initiatives that drive regional growth
This 12-week program offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a high-growth environment where your holistic development and contribution to our human-centric culture are prioritized. This position is based out of our Portland, Oregon office for a hybrid office environment
Your mission
– Conduct comprehensive research to benchmark performance against key market competitors, focusing on pricing, product assortment, and channel mix to identify growth opportunities
– Execute targeted deep-dive analyses into high-priority business areas to uncover root causes of performance trends across footwear franchises and wholesale partners
– Support the maintenance and optimization of core commercial dashboards to ensure Sales and Merchandising leaders have access to accurate, real-time data
– Translate complex datasets into clear, visual narratives for Monthly Business Reviews to highlight actionable insights for the Americas leadership team
– Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather data and ensure alignment on regional reporting standards and definitions
– Assist in the identification of process improvements within the analytics workflow to increase speed and accuracy of deliverables
– Support the Strategy Enablement team in tracking key performance indicators against long-term regional milestones
Your story
– Currently pursuing or recently graduated (up to 1 year) from an accredited MBA program or related field of study
– You bring a foundation of experience in data analysis or business strategy gained through internships or academic projects within a fast-paced or premium consumer goods environment
– Proficient in structuring logical narratives and translating data into visual stories using tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
– High level of comfort building dynamic models in Excel or Google Sheets to simulate business scenarios and financial outcomes
– Demonstrated ability to approach complex problems through a hypothesis-driven mindset, breaking down questions into manageable analytical components
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
– A proactive learner who thrives in an environment of curiosity and is eager to explore the nuances of the sportswear industry
