At Amer Sports, our Global Business Services (GBS) Finance team supports efficient and reliable Order‑to‑Cash processes across our global wholesale business. We are looking for an (Junior) Cash Collection Specialist with German, open to junior or more experienced profiles, who is detail‑oriented, customer‑focused, and ready to grow within Accounts Receivable and OTC.

This role is suitable both for candidates at an early stage of their career and for specialists with initial collections experience who want to further develop their skills in an international environment.

What you will be doing:

• Monitor accounts receivable aging on a daily basis and manage an assigned customer portfolio
• Follow up on overdue accounts, contacting customers to collect outstanding balances or agree on payment plans
• Review and resolve credit holds and blocked orders in cooperation with internal teams
• Handle customer queries related to billing, payments, orders, credit notes, and discrepancies
• Manage inbound and outbound customer communication via phone and email
• Cooperate closely with the Credit Manager on selected collection activities and ad‑hoc topics
• Use available tools and research methods to locate customers who are unresponsive
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all collection activities
• Follow established procedures, internal controls, and agreed credit policies
• Support knowledge sharing and on‑the‑job training of new joiners as experience grows
• Create, update, and follow desktop procedures and working instructions
• Act as a backup for team members as part of the agreed coverage model

What you need to succeed:

• At least 6 months of experience in collections, customer service, sales support, finance operations, or a similar role; candidates with 2+ years of experience in cash collections or Order‑to‑Cash are also very welcome
• Fluent German (spoken and written) is required for daily customer communication
• Good command of English (written and spoken) to support collaboration in an international environment
• Understanding of collections procedures and credit policies, with depth depending on experience level
• Practical experience with or willingness to learn SAP OTC transactions and other tools used in cash collection
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills, including filtering, sorting, basic calculations, and data formatting
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach to daily work
• Customer‑focused mindset with good communication and follow‑up skills
• Ability to manage routine tasks independently over time and handle more complex cases with support when needed
• Willingness to learn, follow established procedures, and gradually take on more responsibility
• Openness to feedback and collaboration with senior colleagues and the Credit Manager
• Proactive attitude and interest in developing Order‑to‑Cash and Accounts Receivable expertise
