Your opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Sr. Director, Regional Supply Chain EMEA you will lead the regional supply chain strategy and execution across planning, inventory management, integrated business planning, regional operations, allocation, replenishment, warehousing, and logistics. You will lead end-to-end accountability for supply chain execution across the EMEA region. This role ensures alignment with global standards while driving regional agility to meet customer needs, optimize inventory, and deliver financial and operational targets. The Sr. Director, Regional Supply Chain (EMEA) will provide strategic leadership to enable growth and operational excellence.
This role is primarily based out of our Munich office (Garching) and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany.
Meet Your Future Team:
The regional supply chain team is a cross-functional group whose focus is to continuously enable sales and margin, while mitigating inventory risks by finding the balance between the right product, at the right quantity, in the right place, at the right time. You’ll also be engaged within the regional leadership team with representatives across the commercial operations as the supply chain leader.

If you were a Sr. Director, Regional Supply Chain EMEA now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Taking responsibility and ownership of the Arc’teryx regional supply chain strategy and leading the evolution of a comprehensive, long-term strategy that amplifies operational excellence
  • Formulating and leading the execution of our regional supply chain five-year roadmap, including the planning and execution of phasing year by year in support of organizational readiness and leading team members to achieve the plan from multi-perspectives 
  • Building a high-performance regional supply chain team in merchandise planning, demand planning, inventory planning, DTC and WHS allocations and replenishment, distribution, logistics, and regional IBP operations rooted in Arc’teryx leadership principles and subject matter expertise 
  • Own the regional value chain and act as the primary interface with other functions inside and outside supply chain. Ensure alignment between commercial, supply planning, and merchandise teams with supply chain objectives through the monthly IBP cycle
  • Provide strategic and operational thought leadership and partnership to the regional brand leaders
  • Own the development of the regional warehousing and logistics strategy including multi-node networks, tech upgrades, and warehouse expansions
  • Optimize the regional transportation strategy, utilize local logistics providers to enable the retail fleet to maximize their in-store productivity
  • Strategic leadership of the regional supply chain strategy which influences and enables the commercial strategy in-region, while translating global strategies into regional execution plans
  • Enable regional inventory planning across all channels ensuring KPI performance while enabling regional revenue opportunities, including management of the markdown process and exit channels
  • Implement data-driven decision making for allocation and replenishment planning, leading to optimized in-stock performance, delivering the right product in the right channel at the right time
  • Lead the regional integrated business planning process

  • Contributing to the creation of a regional supply chain framework which guides execution within retail stores, ecommerce channels and wholesale to maximize sales, profit and brand positioning

  • Serve as a key member of the EMEA leadership team, contributing to broader business strategy and decision-making
  • Leading industry leading projects within supply chain and the larger region which will shape the future of Arc’teryx

Are you our next Sr. Director, Regional Supply Chain EMEA

  • You have a minimum of 15+ years’ leadership experience in supply chain operations, supply planning, demand planning, merchandise planning, distribution, logistics, or financial modeling
  • You have a proven track record in developing and leading the execution of a multi-year business strategy
  • You have experience working in a retail Open to Buy (OTB) environment
  • You have experience in SAP, o9, or other advanced planning systems
  • You are grounded in lean principles, six sigma, and blackbelt methodologies and have proven best practices and learnings of when to apply and how they can integrate into organizational operating principles uniquely and purposely  
  • You have strong business acumen with the ability to lead in a complex matrix business environment
  • You drive organizational excellence through continuous communication and proactive, solutions-based approaches
  • You have strong influential leadership, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • You set a clear vision, align your team around common objectives, and foster commitment to these objectives
  • You have successful experience as an enterprise leader and have led high-performance teams within a scaling and accelerated growth organization 
  • You lean into evolving technology and understand the importance and tension of organizational readiness and breakthroughs 
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
