VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Senior Analyst Record to Report to join our team based in Stabio Switzerland.

As an RTR Senior Analyst, your responsibility lies in ensuring the accuracy and timely execution of activities assigned within the RTR team. This involves verifying data accuracy and ensuring compliance with USGAAP accounting standards.
The role supports period-end close, General Ledger accuracy, balance sheet integrity and financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and statutory accounting requirements, working closely with the RTR Manager, internal stakeholders and outsourced service providers.
In particular, the Record to Report Senior Analyst will support the Record to report team and the outsourcing provider with the following activities.

Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities in line with the defined close calendar

Prepare and support review of journal entries. In case that entries are posted by the outsource provider, ensure that they are compliant with the operational instructions to be followed by them

Ensure accuracy and completeness in record to report transactions to maintain strong customer satisfaction and meet agreed service levels. To ensure data accuracy, you will be involved in the review of the monthly reconciliations which are prepared by the outsource provider

Support the reporting team in reviewing the variances period over period before the submission of the monthly reporting package with reference to the areas of your responsibility

Identify risks associated with the execution of assigned tasks within the business process and escalate/mitigate/resolve as required

Act as a key point of contact for internal and external audit teams, including SOX-related reviews and deep-dive requests, providing supporting documentation and responding to queries raised

Work closely with the Statutory team to ensure alignment between US GAAP and local statutory accounting
Skills for Success:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

Educational Background: master’s degree in accounting
-
Professional Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience in Record To Report Processes (GL accounting) or experience in public accounting. Experience in an international setting is preferred. Skilled in:

Financial Statement

Accounting Fundamentals (US GAAP especially and local GAAP)

Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken)
