We’re looking for Record to Report Senior Accounting Specialist (Lease Accounting & Fixed Assets) for Amer Sports’ office in Krakow.

What you will be doing

  • Manage fixed assets accounting (creation, maintenance, depreciation, assets under construction)
  • Handle lease accounting under IFRS 16 (contract setup, modifications, updates)
  • Perform balance sheet monitoring and reconciliations for fixed assets and leases
  • Execute month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities in line with group timelines
  • Independently manage daily and periodic RTR tasks within your scope
  • Support financial reporting ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
  • Assist in internal and external audits
  • Maintain and update process documentation (DTPs, process maps)
  • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX requirements
  • Support the team and share knowledge with junior colleagues

What you need to succeed

  • 4+ years of experience in general ledger or RTR accounting
  • Strong knowledge of fixed assets and lease accounting (IFRS 16 or ASC 842)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and RTR processes
  • Experience with SAP Finance and MS Excel
  • Familiarity with internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Experience with lease accounting tools (e.g., Nakisa, CoStar, Tango)
  • Experience with BlackLine is a plus
  • Very good English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to take ownership and strive for excellence in how work is planned, executed, and improved
