Amer Sports Global Business Services is looking for an experienced Record to Report BlackLine Analyst / Administrator to join our growing Finance Systems team. If you have a background in Accounting or Record to Report and are passionate about finance processes, systems, and automation that support global operations — this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.
As a Record to Report BlackLine Analyst / Administrator, you will take ownership of the BlackLine platform with a strong focus on Record to Report processes and the Journal Entries module. By configuring, maintaining, and continuously improving system solutions, you will ensure stable, compliant, and efficient financial close operations. Working closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and global stakeholders, you will help shape the future of BlackLine at Amer Sports.
What you will be doing:
System Administration & Configuration
- Administer and configure the BlackLine Journal Entries (JE) module.
- Design, maintain, and optimize approval workflows.
- Manage user roles, access rights, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls.
- Configure JE templates, validation rules, and automated journal postings.
- Monitor journal entry processing and support month-end close activities.
Support & Operations
- Provide functional support to Finance and Accounting users.
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Liaise with BlackLine support and manage incident escalations.
- Maintain system documentation, procedures, and change logs.
Integration & Change Management
- Support integrations with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
- Coordinate system changes, UAT testing, and production deployments.
- Ensure system changes follow internal controls and compliance standards.
Controls & Audit
- Support internal and external audits, including SOX and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with financial governance and control requirements.
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with BlackLine or similar financial systems.
- Hands-on experience with BlackLine, preferably Journal Entries (JE) and reconciliation modules.
- Strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) and General Ledger processes.
- Experience administering financial systems or SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken, in a multinational environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
