Amer Sports Global Business Services is looking for an experienced, motivated, and detail‑oriented Procurement Solutions and Technology Team Leader to take ownership of our procurement tools and solutions, including SAP Ariba. This role combines people leadership with strong process ownership, and responsibility for system stability, compliance, and efficiency across all procurement activities, while driving continuous improvement and global standardization across the PtP landscape.

We are seeking someone who can work independently while collaborating seamlessly with stakeholders across regions and functions. If you are a quick learner with solid hands‑on experience as an Ariba Buying administrator or key user, this could be an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career.

Due to close cooperation with North American stakeholders, the position offers flexibility in working hours, with approximately 1-2 days per week scheduled in a later shift (e.g., 12:00–20:00 or 14:00–22:00) to ensure effective time overlap.

What you will be doing:

Procurement Technical Ecosystem

• Take full ownership of SAP Ariba, ensuring system stability, accuracy, and reliability across procurement activities
• Act as the system guardian: monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, conduct health checks, and proactively prevent disruptions
• Lead system changes and support implementation and optimization projects from both functional and data perspectives
• Drive innovation by proposing, testing, and deploying new functionalities that enhance user experience and process excellence
• Collaborate closely with tool administration, operational procurement, and cross-functional stakeholders globally
• Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing smarter, more intuitive procurement solutions
• Coordinate system maintenance and updates to keep the ecosystem stable, current, and optimized

Team Leadership

• Lead, develop, and support your team, ensuring balanced workload and strong performance
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes
• Escalate and track complex issues through to resolution
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and backup support when needed
• Oversee process documentation and ensure clarity and consistency
• Manage KPIs, understand performance drivers, and assess business impact
• Contribute to global process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable team targets and adapt plans when priorities shift

What you need to succeed:

• 4–5+ years of experience in finance, economics, procurement, IT, or a similar field (finance background is a plus, not a must)
• Proven team leadership experience with strong people management skills
• Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba in an administrator or consulting role
• Strong knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay processes, including PO/GR handling and a solid understanding of MM processes
• Strong presentation skills and confidence in advocating for solutions
• Fluent English
• Practical knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Positive, proactive “can-do” attitude with flexibility and high attention to detail
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Self-directed and innovative mindset.
