Amer Sports - OT-Security Domain Manager (m/f/d) - Garching
Full Time NewBookmark Details
Hybrid, Garching bei Munich
At Amer Sports, we are looking for an OT Security Domain Manager to drive Operational Technology (OT) security across our global supply chain network. You will shape security roadmaps, coordinate multi-site initiatives, and help protect manufacturing sites and distribution centers while ensuring operational continuity and safety.
The role requires on-site presence in Altenmarkt im Pongau two days per week.
Scope and autonomy
This is a highly autonomous matrix role in which you act as the business-domain focal point for OT security across assigned sites. You own domain-level planning, roadmap coordination, architecture alignment, and risk reporting. You guide local OT Security Site Leads without direct line management, while local Site Leads and Business Owners retain responsibility for operational execution and final plant-level risk acceptance.
What you will be doing
- Define and drive the OT security roadmap across assigned sites, including priorities, milestones, ownership, and progress tracking.
- Coordinate multi-site OT security programs, managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Align OT security architecture and rollout plans with Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, and the Global OT Security Lead.
- Guide local OT Security Site Leads, track control implementation, and coordinate remediation and risk management across sites.
- Translate security requirements and residual risks into business priorities, investment proposals, and actionable plans.
- Integrate OT security into new build projects from the design phase and manage security requirements for OEMs, system integrators, and other third parties.
- Ensure alignment with relevant standards and regulations, including IEC 62443, NIS2, and ISO 27001, and support audits and assurance activities.
- Drive OT asset visibility, risk classification, exception tracking, maturity reporting, and alignment with SOC and incident response teams.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of OT environments, manufacturing processes, and supply chain dependencies.
- Experience coordinating OT security initiatives across multiple sites, including roadmap planning, architecture alignment, and risk management.
- Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across business and technical functions.
- Solid knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks, particularly IEC 62443 principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- IEC 62443 training or certification, or equivalent demonstrable competence.
What we consider a plus
- Experience in OT security architecture, residual risk governance, investment prioritization, or industrial incident response.
- Experience working in a global, matrix organization.
- Additional ICS/OT security training or certifications, such as GIAC GICSP.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP or CISM.
