Amer Sports Global Business Services is seeking an ambitious IT Desktop Support Junior Analyst to join our team of talented professionals who share never-ending passion to IT technology and an unwavering focus on our customer experience.

The main purpose of this position is to ensure the quality of the end user technical support and customer satisfaction for our workers. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing the IT Support services and processes.

What you will be doing:

  • 1st Line Support: Provide first-line Service Desk support for business-critical applications and services.
  • Issue Diagnosis: Analyze and troubleshoot end-user PC issues, including hardware and software-related problems.
  • Incident Handling: Log and resolve incidents and service requests promptly, ensuring adherence to IT security policies.
  • Service Implementation: Fulfill service requests based on available documentation, including software installation, maintenance, and updates.
  • Ownership & Collaboration: Take ownership of reported issues and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure resolution.
  • Information Gathering: Collect relevant details to support effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Escalation: Escalate tickets to the appropriate support level when necessary, ensuring smooth handover and resolution tracking.
  • User Account Management: Maintain Active Directory organizational units and user accounts, supporting user lifecycle processes.
  • Documentation: Review and contribute to technical documentation and create end-user knowledge base articles.
  • User Communication: Communicate with users professionally via email and Microsoft Teams.

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience or Education: At least 1 year of experience in a similar IT support role, or ongoing/completed university studies in IT or related technology fields.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Good problem-solving skills and familiarity with basic troubleshooting tools and techniques.
  • Operating Systems: Experience supporting Windows client operating systems.
  • Directory Services: Basic understanding of Active Directory and its purpose in user and resource management.
  • Hardware Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of computer hardware components and diagnostics.
  • Communication & Language: Very good English skills (B2+ level), both written and spoken, with strong verbal communication and customer service abilities.
  • Teamwork & Motivation: Strong motivation to work in a dynamic, international environment with a collaborative mindset.
  • Learning Attitude: Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within the organization.
  • Networking & Servers: General awareness of IT networking and server environments is a plus, though not required.
  • ITIL & Scripting: Familiarity with ITIL processes and basic scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell) will be considered a strong advantage.
