Amer Sports Global Business Services is looking for a ServiceNow Change Manager to join our global IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the Change Management process within the ServiceNow ITSM platform, ensuring operational stability while enabling agility across the organization.

You will collaborate with IT process owners, ServiceNow developers, and global business stakeholders to build robust change management frameworks, automate workflows, and drive continuous process improvement. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic process ownership, offering an opportunity to make a direct impact on how IT changes are governed and executed in a dynamic, multinational environment.

What you will be doing:

Process Implementation & Improvement:

  • Design, implement, and optimize the Change Management process in alignment with ITIL best practices and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with process owners, architects, and ServiceNow developers to configure and deploy the Change Management module (including workflows, forms, approvals, and automation).
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Establish governance and KPIs for monitoring process performance and maturity.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions to onboard teams to the new change process.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, increase automation, and enhance reporting.

Operational Change Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT changes — from submission and review to approval, scheduling, implementation, and closure.
  • Review and assess change requests for impact, risk, and readiness.
  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Emergency CAB (eCAB) meetings.
  • Coordinate closely with Incident, Problem, and Release Management to ensure process alignment and operational consistency.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on key change metrics (e.g., success rate, failure rate, emergency changes, lead time).
  • Configure and maintain ServiceNow Change Management functionalities, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Work with ServiceNow administrators and developers to enhance automation, approval flows, and reporting dashboards.
  • Ensure all changes adhere to internal policies, risk frameworks, and compliance standards.
  • Enforce change policy adherence across technical and business teams.

What you need to succeed:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Change Management, including hands-on experience designing and implementing the process within ServiceNow.
  • Proven ability to configure and manage the ServiceNow Change Management module, including workflows, notifications, and approvals.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL v3/v4 principles, with practical experience applying them in enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance process rigor with business agility and speed.

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ITSM Implementation Specialist certification.
  • ITIL Foundation or higher-level certification.
  • Experience leading ITSM process implementations or transformations.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD environments.
  • Experience working with change enablement in cloud or hybrid infrastructures.
