We are looking for a HR Generalist & Talent Acquisition partner to join our team based in Barcelona (Spain) in order to cover a maternity leave.
Let’s talk about the role!
This position is responsible to manage the recruitment processes for stores and HQ from intake to offer, including the management of the relationship with hiring manager as well as the relevant HR Business Partner, with the final goal of delivering the highest quality candidate for each position.
You will execute the employer branding strategy for retail in the country, and develop the sourcing plan , focusing on criteria of efficiency and effectiveness. Provide advice to the store and retail management on the best sourcing strategies for specific roles, and monitor the talent market to propose solutions in terms of mid and long-term talent acquisition activities. Support in the onboarding process of candidates, ensuring the correct processes are followed and that evaluations are carried in the correct period.
In the position, you will also develop and support other projects in the HR department.
How You Will Make a Difference
Your main responsibilities will be:

Sourcing Strategy Execution: maximizes the usage of all candidate touch points, to establish a constant flow of candidates for the external talent pools, balancing the specific needs of the brands and regional approaches where needed. Monitors quality of the different channels on a periodic basis, and suggests new providers when needed. Manages the relationship with recruiting agencies, and monitors their performance, reporting on a periodic basis.

Intake: Manages the intake process, assessing with the hiring manager and the relevant HR Business Partner, when needed, the specific characteristics of the role, summarized in the definition of the profile of the candidate, decision on the channels for the recruitment and on the timeline of the process managing internal customers’ expectations.

Interviews: Plans and schedules interviews for managerial roles with candidates and management. Ensures that results are captured and actions are followed. When needed, supports the organization of traveling for interviews at HQ.

Hiring and Onboarding: Manages the job offer and the negotiation phase, update of the systems, schedules and follows up trial period reviews and initiates the onboarding process, monitoring steps and resuls.

Recruiting Training: Runs recruiting training sessions for the management teams, and coaches individuals on interviewing techniques as needed. Oversees the adaptation of Regional tools for the country, ensuring local adaptation and translations when needed.

Cost Management: ensures a thorough follow-up of the recruiting costs, monitoring providers’ fees, and monitoring the budget in close cooperation with local HR Retail Business Partners. Manages the usage of Agency Workers, monitoring costs and invoicing.

Contribute to team success and HR Projects: participates in the projects of the HR department and the activities of the EMEA wide recruiting team, exchanging ideas, suggesting improvements, collaborating on initiatives and supporting on peak times, under the supervision of the Recruiting Coordination partner.
Skills for Success
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or High School Degree with relevant professional experience in high volume recruiting

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role (2-3 years).

Language skills: Fluent English and Spanish.

Advanced MS Office knowledge, and previous Workday experience is a plus.

Retail understanding, and where possible experience in retail.

Proven ability to plan and work independently while balancing shifting priorities.

Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to influence business partners at all levels.

Able to meet performance expectations with limited supervision.

Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with peers, corporate partners, and the business community to positively impact recruiting decisions.
