Are you curious about product, fashion and how global collections come to life? Timberland is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser Intern to join the Global Women Merchandising Team in Stabio, Switzerland.
As Assistant Merchandiser Intern, you will support the Timberland Global Women Apparel Team across product creation, collection presentation, sales analysis and merchandising reporting, contributing to decisions shaped by consumer needs, market insights and seasonal priorities.
How you'll make a difference
Get ready to make an impact! Here’s what you’ll be responsible for joining our team as Assistant Merchandiser Intern:

Support the Global Women Apparel Team in product creation, collection presentation and seasonal merchandising activities.

Maintain accurate product information in merchandising systems, including PLM/Enovia data entry, pricing, SCO management and product attributes.

Analyze sales performance, market insights and consumer trends to identify bestsellers, slow movers and commercial opportunities.

Contribute to seasonal line plans, sell-in tools, product presentations and merchandising reports.

Coordinate cross-functional activities with Merchandising, Design, Product Development, Footwear, Accessories and Marketing teams to keep stakeholders aligned on GTM calendar milestones and next steps.

Take ownership of ad-hoc projects to build autonomy, strengthen project management skills and contribute to team spirit.
Skills that will make you succeed:

A strong passion for fashion, product and the clothing industry, with curiosity for consumer needs and store visual merchandising.

The ability to analyze quantitative sales data and qualitative market feedback to identify trends, opportunities and consumer insights.

A precise and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage product information accurately across systems and reports.

The capability to summarize product briefs, recap key product features and support product development conversations.

Strong organizational skills and a proactive team-player attitude, helping different stakeholders stay aligned throughout the seasonal calendar.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Fashion Business or similar field is preferred.
