Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Area Sales Manager FTW you’ll build a focused, high-quality FTW wholesale business across the Nordics and UK, balancing short-term commercial execution with long-term brand and category development. You will operate in a region where the FTW business is established but unevenly developed, requiring both strategic prioritization and hands-on market execution.
The role offers exposure to building structure, defining distribution standards, and shaping a growing category within a complex wholesale ecosystem. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across sales, merchandising and brand while managing external partners and showrooms. Success in this role comes from clarity, discipline and the ability to develop markets without compromising brand integrity.
This role can be based in Norway, Sweden or Denmark. Candidates must be eligible to work in the country.
Meet Your Future Team:
You will be part of the EMEA Wholesale team in the Nordic and UK, working closely with regional sales leadership and cross-functional partners. The team is focused on building sustainable, premium wholesale growth through disciplined distribution, strong partnerships and clear market strategies.
If you were in the Area Sales Manager FTW Nordic & UK role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Owning and executing the FTW wholesale strategy across the Nordics and UK in line with EMEA priorities
- Managing and developing key FTW specialty and strategic wholesale partners, including sell-in, sell-through and long-term growth planning
- Defining and controlling distribution to ensure brand consistency, market balance and commercial sustainability
- Using data and market insight to inform forecasts, account plans and strategic decisions

- Expanding and strengthening FTW distribution in underdeveloped markets while protecting existing partners
- Building clearer segmentation and standards for FTW doors and specialty doors across the region
- Improving forecast accuracy and commercial planning through deeper account engagement
- Contributing to the long-term positioning of Arc’teryx Footwear in EMEA
Are you our next FTW Area Sales Manager in the Nordic and UK?
- You bring +5 years experience from wholesale, ideally within performance footwear, outdoor or premium sporting goods
- You are commercially sharp, structured in your approach and comfortable operating across multiple markets
- You understand how to grow a business without over-distributing and can balance relationships with firm decision-making.
- You work well independently but value collaboration and alignment
- You are comfortable with travel and thrive in a role with both strategic responsibility and hands-on execution (we expect 1 FTW Summit to Portland/year; 2 in-person KAM meetings/year ; 1 EMEA Summit/year and, 4 in-person meetings/year – Travel frequency is around 50 -60 days)
- You are adaptable and resilient when operating in ambiguous or evolving environments
- You inspire continuous improvement and operational excellence
- You pursue the best solutions with integrity, even when they are not the easiest path
- You are passionate about your work and equally passionate about getting outside and living it
