The AI Innovation Specialist drives Amer Sports’ enterprise AI transformation by turning practical use cases into real business value. While based in Group IT, the role works closely with teams across the business to accelerate AI adoption.

You’ll build and scale AI agents and automations, partner with stakeholders to improve processes, workflows, reporting, and insights, and act as a bridge between operations and IT/Data teams to identify opportunities and execute pilots quickly. You’ll also support cross-functional initiatives by promoting consistent AI practices, sharing learnings, and helping scale capabilities across brands and regions.

What you will be doing:

AI Opportunity Identification & Assessment

  • Partner with brands / functions to identify potential AI use cases across operational areas.
  • Evaluate each opportunity based on feasibility, value impact, and alignment with enterprise AI strategy.
  • Document findings and recommendations in standardized AI Opportunity Assessments for review by the AI Taskforce and DTO leadership.

AI Agent Development & Automation

  • Design and develop AI agents and agentic automations that can autonomously execute financial workflows.
  • Build solutions using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and other AI development platforms.
  • Create intelligent automation solutions that combine AI capabilities with existing systems and processes.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts and minimum viable products for AI-powered assistants.

Solution Implementation & Support

  • Support the rollout of AI solutions, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and workflows.
  • Provide training and documentation to functional teams on AI tools and best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize deployed AI agents to ensure continued effectiveness and value delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between brands/functions, IT, and data team to ensure clarity in problem definition and expected outcomes.
  • Share learnings, templates, and best practices across departments to promote scalable AI adoption.
  • Contribute to AI awareness sessions, training, and internal showcases to build organizational capability.

Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain tracking of in-flight and proposed AI initiatives in collaboration with the AI Taskforce.
  • Prepare concise progress summaries, value realization reports, and learnings for AI  Taskforce and Executive updates.

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong understanding of data analytics, generative AI solutions, AI concepts, and emerging AI tools.
  • Knowledge of business operations, workflows, and process pain points.
  • Hands-on experience with AI development platforms including Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, prompt engineering, and agentic automation frameworks for building intelligent agents and conversational AI solutions
  • Proficiency in Python, APIs, and modern AI/ML frameworks for building intelligent agents.
  • Analytical thinker able to translate business problems into structured data or AI use cases.
  • Excellent communication skills for clearly conveying ideas and collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a rapidly evolving AI environment.
