As a Senior Analyst, Inventory FP&A, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we plan, analyze, and optimize inventory across our global operations. In this role, you’ll drive inventory financial planning, reporting, and data analytics—developing comprehensive reports, conducting in-depth analyses, and translating numbers into clear, informed conclusions. Working closely with both Supply Chain and Finance teams across our brands, you’ll ensure strong cross-functional coordination in a truly global environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Structure and develop comprehensive analytics for the end-to-end inventory cycle, identifying opportunities for improvement across brands and operational strategies, including deep-dives into turnover opportunities in specific categories and markets.
  • Standardize and prepare Inventory KPIs, incorporating scenario analyses that assess inventory levels, supply chain performance, margin impacts, and cash flow implications.
  • Support setting inventory targets and performance metrics that align with organisational goals, cash flow needs, and strategic plans, enhancing measurement and benchmarking.
  • Analyse inventory budgets and forecasts for all brands, ensuring alignment with KPIs and optimal working capital efficiency.
  • Manage projects for inventory planning and stock availability, driving improvements in cash flow and availability.
  • Manage large databases to facilitate informed decision-making through advanced analytics.
  • Track gross margins across the group by analysing sales prices, production and logistics costs, as well as tariff developments.
  • Prepare executive-level materials for senior management and the board.
  • Act as the main contact for inventory, supply chain, and KPI reporting.
  • Collaborate with multiple functions to share inventory best practices and improve synergy, reporting, planning, and training within the Amer Sports Group.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a supply chain or finance role.
  • Understanding of inventory, working capital management, and operational drivers of inventory performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, variance analysis, and data visualization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP ERP systems and Oracle Planning is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
