As Project Manager for Global Transportation, you are responsible for driving the strategic evolution and operational efficiency of our international transport network. You independently lead complex logistics projects, proactively develop solutions for supply chain challenges, and leverage reporting and dashboards to enable data‑driven decision-making across global stakeholders.

What you will be doing:

Independent Project Management & Execution

  • End-to-End Ownership: Independently lead global transportation projects from initial concept and business case through to execution and final handover.
  • Strategic Planning: Define project scopes, design master plans, and identify potential risks while proactively proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Autonomous Problem Solving: Actively identify bottlenecks in the transportation chain and develop independent solution proposals to improve lead times and cost structures.
  • Hypercare & Transition: Drive the project “hypercare” phase following Go-Live, ensuring a seamless transition to internal operational teams.

Advanced Reporting & Data Analytics

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and manage sophisticated reporting systems to track project success, KPIs, and transport performance.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize business analysis tools to provide the department with actionable recommendations based on logistics trends and cost developments.
  • Documentation Standards: Define and implement high-level standards for reporting, process documentation, and strategic reviews.

Transportation Strategy & Stakeholder Management

  • Roadmap Alignment: Contribute to the mid- and long-term global logistics roadmap in alignment with leadership.
  • Communication Hub: Act as the central point of contact between internal brand teams and external partners.

What you need to succeed:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong expertise in project management methodologies with relevant hands-on experience.
  • Experience with change management methodologies.
  • General knowledge of the supply chain field (transportation, warehousing, logistics).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of SAP is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in diverse, international settings or with global teams.
  • Proactive Mindset: Ability to manage tasks independently and provide self-initiated solution proposals.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to deal with high process complexity and multi-national stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to motivate intercultural teams towards a common goal.
  • Resilience: Excellent time and stress management with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to deliver structured, deadline‑driven work.
  • Proven communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel (travel time up to 30%) and work in different timezones.
