Hybrid, New York City

What You’ll Do:

The Manager, Finance Planning bridges strategic leadership and operational execution by leading global, cross-functional planning initiatives and deploying industry-leading financial planning and analysis techniques to enhance financial planning capabilities across Brands, Regions, and Group Functions. Reporting directly to the Director, Financial Planning, this role drives governance in the end-to-end financial planning cycle, manages portions of large-scale projects (process redesign, OneStream enhancements, and AI Forecasting), and provides advanced financial insights that translate strategy into action.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Orchestrate the end-to-end financial planning cadence (long-range strategic planning, annual business planning, quarterly forecasting), ensuring milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are met across key stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional planning transformation projects and implementation of new AI Forecasting modules. This includes creating project briefs, developing timelines, identifying and managing risks, and driving stakeholder alignment, with formal PMO rigor (i.e., development of charters, documentation of RACI, and tracking against key milestones).
  • Drive change management for new planning processes and tools by designing and delivering communication strategies and training programs that leverage best practices to maximize user adoption and engagement.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of global financial plans by establishing and monitoring planning policies, forecast timelines, data quality standards, and centralized planning assumptions.
  • Optimize the current financial planning process by reducing forecast time, enhancing forecast accuracy by including operational KPIs, developing and maintaining playbooks for planning processes, rationalizing user access, championing best practices, and identifying areas for automation.
  • Scale the OneStream financial planning platform by partnering with the OneStream system administration Team. Amplify the voice of the business by translating needs into system requirements and test cases.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Director, brand/regional FP&A, and Group functions; ensure alignment on process and targets.
  • Support strategic projects and analyses as needed (i.e., driver-based scenario modeling, variance analysis, cost initiatives, working capital).
  • Advocate for a culture of accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with experience in financial planning and consolidation. Retail or D2C Experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated program and stakeholder management skills to drive planning initiatives; ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, financial modeling, and forecasting approaches.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning software.
  • Experience with OneStream preferred and/or other financial systems (i.e., Oracle Planning).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to adapt quickly to change and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
