Amer Sports Global Business Services is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (Senior) Engineer (m/f/d) to support the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of global identity and access services across Amer Sports and its brands.

In this role, you will work hands‑on with enterprise identity platforms, contribute to automation and service enhancements, and collaborate closely with architects, Cyber Security, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable access to systems and applications.

What you will be doing:

Identity and Access Platform Operations & Engineering

• Operate and continuously improve core identity and access platforms, including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, Single Sign‑On and federation services, Multi‑Factor Authentication, Privileged Identity and Access Management, and Conditional Access.
• Implement configurations, integrations, and technical enhancements based on architectural designs and standards.
• Ensure stable, secure, and compliant operation of identity services in hybrid and cloud environments.
• Monitor platform health, authentication flows, logs, and overall identity security posture.

Identity Lifecycle & Access Management

• Support Joiner–Mover–Leaver processes, identity lifecycle management, and access request workflows.
• Implement and maintain access models, role‑based access controls, and baseline security improvements.
• Support privileged access operations, including onboarding privileged roles, managing just‑in‑time access, and handling service and technical accounts.
• Participate in application onboarding for Single Sign‑On (SAML / OIDC) and modern authentication methods.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain automation and scripting solutions (e.g. PowerShell, Python, APIs) to streamline provisioning, access management, and reporting.
• Reduce manual operational effort through automation, self‑service, and process optimization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by testing, providing feedback, and adopting new platform capabilities.

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Ensure identity and access services adhere to company standards, security controls, and audit requirements.
• Support access governance activities, including access reviews, audit evidence collection, and SOX/ITGC controls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve identity‑related incidents, problems, and configuration issues.
• Maintain high‑quality documentation, including runbooks, diagrams, and technical reference guides.

Collaboration & Support

• Collaborate closely with Cyber Security, Cloud/Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Application teams.
• Act as a reliable technical partner for identity‑ and access‑related topics across the organization.
• Support secure and consistent access across systems and applications in a global environment.

What you need to succeed:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent hands‑on professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with identity and access technologies in enterprise environments.
• Practical experience operating and supporting identity services in hybrid or cloud‑based setups.

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory / Entra ID.
• Experience with authentication and federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
• Hands‑on experience with Multi‑Factor Authentication, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity and Access Management, password policies, and account lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, especially PowerShell (Python and API integrations are a plus).
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments and how identity services integrate with infrastructure and applications.
• Ability to efficiently troubleshoot authentication, provisioning, and access‑related issues.

• Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator, Azure Administrator) are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Additional training in cloud platforms, directory services, identity security, or automation is a plus.
