As part of building our new Learning & Development function within Talent Management at Amer Sports, this role plays a key part in delivering world-class learning solutions across the group and its iconic brands. As a manager, you’ll drive the development and rollout of core leadership learning frameworks, enhance our digital learning ecosystem, and foster an engaged learning community. Working closely with stakeholders across brands and functions, you’ll help shape impactful learning initiatives that support both individual growth and business performance.
What you will be doing:
L&D system and user support
- Educate, onboard, and support HR users on L&D and LMS topics.
- Consult on instructional design for eLearning.
- Troubleshoot issues and drive platform engagement through campaigns and UX improvements.
- Collaborate on LMS enhancements and content clean-up.
- Support adoption of analytics tools (e.g., Docebo Insights).
- Build the infrastructure for in-person learning events. Sign-up systems, venues, materials production
Instructional Design & Learning Delivery
- Standardize learning design and promote a core standard of learning content quality
- Develop core HR content and activation materials for ‘Leading Self’ and ‘Leading Others.’
- Work with graphic designers to produce high quality learning materials.
- Co-design & deliver F2F programs for new managers & Individual contributors .
- Develop performance management activations integrated with talent management processes.
- Expand offerings under ‘Leading Self’ and ‘Leading Others.’
- Ownership of onboarding /induction content for our new hires globally
Strengthen internal capabilities for learning design and delivery
- Upskill content requesters and training owners across the Group to improve the effectiveness and impact of learning programs:
- Develop and launch internal resources (e.g., toolkits, checklists, intranet pages) on working with vendors, defining deliverables, and applying instructional design best practices
- Train stakeholders on when eLearning is appropriate and how to drive behavior change through learning
- Serve as a subject matter expert and quality gate for digital learning content
- Organize and host the Learning Summit enhancing the a cross brand learning community
What you need to succeed:
- At least 5 years of experience in a Learning & Development role – 2+ years of experience in an L&D Manager role is preferred
- Experience working with LMS platforms (Docebo preferred)
- Strong instructional design expertise
- Experience facilitating employee learning programs
- Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline)
- Self-directed, proactive, and innovative mindset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
