We’re looking for an outstanding Supply and Inventory Planner to join our EMEA Packs (Eastpak, Kipling & Jansport) planning team in Antwerp, Belgium.

As Supply Planner you will join the Operational Planning department that ensures that right product is at the right place and right time for the customers.
Job Summary
Take full responsibility of the supply planning and the inventory management of Eastpak or Kipling products keeping both the short- and long-term plan in mind. Balance supply and demand in such a way that maximizes product availability while keeping inventory levels under control. Calculate, based on the seasonal demand plan and forecast, the purchase requirements and send them to our sourcing teams in Asia. Avoid stock disruptions and overstock, monitor and report on supply and inventory performance. Maintain close contacts with sales, customer service, VF Asia Sourcing, logistics and distribution teams to ensure open communication and proper information flow.
- Together with your manager you define the buy strategy before the season starts based on historical data and steer that strategy each buy based on current market conditions.
- Create a monthly buy plan and rolling forecast for vendors based on capacity constraints, production lead time and minimums aligned to the buy strategy and demand forecast.
- Manage and coordinate a global monthly buy process including other regions and align with respective regional planners on their buy quantity.
- Align with your manager and other stakeholders within the brand on the final quantities to buy and execute PO placement within buy plan terms and deadlines.
- Assure system PO completion for all relevant parameters (e.g. confirmed delivery dates, correct prices, factory details) within established deadlines and assure PO acknowledgment by vendors and VF Asia Sourcing
- Facilitate weekly calls with the sourcing organization in Asia on outstanding issues and process improvements opportunities.
- Production follow up: on a weekly basis create and run reports on open POs, check with VF Asia sourcing on potential risks of delay and evaluate possible solutions, take responsibility to communicate risks and opportunities to leadership, execute actions agreed with management; be responsible to achieve assigned KPI related to production on time.
- Manage quarterly container prioritization process to ensure inventory at DC is in line with inventory targets without disrupting order delivery to customer.
- Build, automate and analyze reports on a daily, bi-weekly and seasonal basis for on-time order coverage, supply arrival at DC and detailed inventory levels of product categories. Take corrective actions where needed.
- Act as SPOC for the planning org alongside your manager in global project implementations.
- Support and act as back-up for other members of the planning team.
What you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Commercial Sciences, Transport, Logistics with 3-5 years working experience.
- You like working with numbers and have an analytical mind.
- You are accurate and have a sharp eye for details.
- You enjoy working with others, listening to and understanding their point of view and identify solutions together.
- You are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP, PowerBI.
- Fluent in English, spoken as well as written. Knowledge of Dutch language is an asset.
