Job Description

Within the Social Media & Influence team, you will manage the following missions:

1. Responsibilities associated with the Public Relations (PR)/Communications team:

  • Assist in weekly, monthly and yearly press monitoring, using online tool to track/measure earned media KPIs across product and brand activations (what is successful)
  • Supporting external media relations efforts by organizing media visits at Salomon’s Annecy Design Center (ADC), and potentially sporting events as well as arranging schedule for journalist visits
  • Upload digital content and PR assets to Salomon’s DAM (Data Assets Management) platform and Salomon.com (blog/content section) ensuring on-time delivery and translation for international markets
  • Assist in PR-related projects such as researching new media outlets for the brand to engage with
  • Send product samples to journalists

 

2. You’ll also be assisting the Social Influence Marketing Specialist by:

  • Running reports to assess the performance of our social influence strategy
  • Identifying new profiles to represent the brand globally
  • Assisting in the management, support and guidance of the brand’s global Social Influencers
  • Executing the product seeding process

In parallel, the intern will collaborate to the project entrusted by the company (events organization and project management).

 

Qualifications

  • Academic background: Working toward Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Media or Business
  • Experience: A first professional or personal experience in Influence Marketing or within a PR agency
  • Languages: Proficient in English
  • IT skills:
    • Office suite mandatory
    • Strong familiarity with social platforms (both consumer-facing and back ends). 
    • Some experience or interest in content management systems
    • Ability to use and edit video and audio to tell a story is a plus
