We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist – Machine Operator Plastics (Kunststofftechniker) to join our team.
You will be responsible for operating machines that incorporate an extrusion process, automation, and robotics in a production setting.
The Plastics Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the machinery, conducting regular maintenance, and addressing any issues that may arise during production.

Your mission

– Operate production machines that utilise extrusion, automation, and
robotics technology
– Set up machines for production runs according to specifications and
quality standards
– Monitor machine performance during production to ensure output meets
quality requirements
– Conduct routine maintenance on the machine to prevent downtime and
ensure optimal performance
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may impact production
efficiency
– Follow established production schedules to meet output targets.
– Maintain thorough and accurate records of production activities and
machine maintenance
– Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production
processes and efficiency
– Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working
Environment
– You will conduct quality standards for Raw Materials

Your story

– Vocational training or higher as a Polymer- and Plastics Technician.
– 5-10 years of proven experience as a Plastics Technician in a production environment,
with knowledge of extrusion, automation, and robotics.
– Familiar with Lean Processes
– Ability to operate and maintain production machinery effectively
– Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
– Attention to detail and ability to follow production schedules and
quality standards
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
– Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to
changing priorities
– Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe
workplace
– You are able to communicate in English or German
