At On, we’re all about creating impactful experiences that bring our brand to life. We’re looking for a Global VM Specialist to join us on a 6-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving the VM function across our international showrooms and events, ensuring that every space tells our brand story while maintaining a perfect balance of aesthetics and functionality.

Your mission

– Drive VM Excellence: Develop and implement visual merchandising (VM) strategies for our showrooms and events, ensuring that every space reflects the On brand ethos while enhancing product storytelling. From concept to execution, you’ll own the VM function globally, setting the standard for impactful presentations.

– Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Events, Brand Environments, Spatial Design, Brand Experience, and Regional Teams to elevate the presentation of our apparel, footwear, and accessories. Together, you’ll ensure that every pop-up, product launch, and consumer or press event strengthens the On brand image and drives engagement.

– Strategic VM Directives: Curate and communicate clear, strategic VM guidelines that can be adapted across multiple regions for showrooms and events. Whether it’s a high-visibility campaign launch or a press preview, your directives will ensure a consistent and elevated brand experience.

– Product-First Vision: Ensure that product strategy is at the heart of every spatial design decision, from initial briefing to final installation. Your work will help showcase our latest collections in a way that excites, engages, and drives sales.

– VM Expertise: You’ve got a strong background in visual merchandising with experience across retail, showroom, and event environments. You understand how to create visually impactful spaces that are both functional and aligned with brand values.

– Creative & Strategic: You have a passion for storytelling through design, but you’re also a strategic thinker who knows how to balance creativity with practicality to meet commercial objectives.

– Collaborative Leader: You thrive in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with teams from Sales, Visual Experience and Spatial Design to ensure a seamless and cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints.

– Detail-Oriented & Organized: You’re meticulous about details and know how to manage multiple projects, ensuring every space you curate is executed flawlessly, on time, and within budget.

Meet the team

The Visual Experience department is made up of the Visual Merchandising, Campaign Design and Campaign Production teams. We shape, enhance and define the visual expression of the brand, through holistic, curated product storytelling and impactful campaign activation in DTC, B2B, showrooms and events. We tell stories that push our purpose and to connect, inspire and engage with our communities and fans.
