Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where finance meets global logistics? At Amer Sports Supply Chain Finance, we are looking for a skilled Senior Financial Project Manager to play a critical role in driving financial excellence across our global logistics projects.

In this role, you don’t necessarily need a background in logistics or supply chain — we’re offering an exciting opportunity to bring your financial expertise and grow into this field while working on impactful, global projects.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and review business cases for logistics projects, including Capex and Opex baselines and spending plans.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy of Capex and Opex for global logistics projects.
  • Lead the financial control and development of our logistics portfolio.
  • Support (D&T) projects by monitoring Capex and Opex (baseline formalization, financial modeling, actuals control, and post-mortem analysis).
  • Act as the primary financial contact for project teams organizing and leading meetings while contributing to project and financial communications.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to analyze and optimize processes, leveraging financial insights to reduce inefficiencies.
  • Manage financial and warehouse data, ensuring accurate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting of Capex and Opex in SAP and other tools.
  • Drive data-driven analysis to improve controlling practices and processes.
  • Support approval processes at internal steering committee meetings, capital committees, and board-level presentations.

What you need to succeed:

Essential Qualifications:
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and Analysis for Office & Web Reporting (Oracle EPM is a plus).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • A solid understanding of project management and change management principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse, intercultural team.

Experience and Education:

  • 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling.
  • A degree (MA, BA, or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or Business Management, preferably with a focus on controlling or data analytics.
  • Experience in logistics environments or a project management certification is a plus but not mandatory.
