Are you a SAP SD Consultant with a passion for technology and the great outdoors? 

We are seeking a SAP Sales & Distribution Consultant with around 5 years of experience to join our vibrant team at Salomon, a leading outdoor sports company. Located in the stunning town of Annecy, nestled in the heart of the French Alps. With a global reputation for innovation in sports equipment, Salomon offers an exciting environment where your work will contribute to delivering world-class products to adventurers across the globe. 

In a few months, we’ll be embarking on a SAP S/4HANA implementation project, and we’re looking for someone who is not only skilled in SAP SD but also excited to grow with us through this cutting-edge transformation. 

The key areas of the role will focus on: 

SAP SD Implementation and Configuration: 

  • Support the implementation and customization of SAP SD modules to optimize Salomon’s sales and distribution processes, with a focus on Retail and e-Commerce processes. 
  • Configure essential SD components such as pricing, billing, sales orders, and logistics execution. 
  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP) and with other in-house tools.  

Business Process Understanding: 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sales and distribution needs, ensuring that SAP SD solutions align with business goals. 
  • Focus on optimizing end-to-end sales and distribution processes within a fast-paced, innovative sports company. 

Project Involvement: 

  • Be part of the full life cycle of SAP SD implementations, including design, configuration, testing, and post go-live support. 
  • Assist in End-to-End testing of new systems to enhance business efficiency. 

Support and Troubleshooting: 

  • Provide hands-on support for 2nd and 3rd level SAP SD-related issues, ensuring efficient resolution of challenges tied to sales orders, billing, and logistics. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, offering solutions to optimize performance in SD-related areas. 

Documentation and Training: 

  • Prepare comprehensive functional documentation and user manuals to support system users. 
  • Assist with end-user training to help the team fully leverage SAP SD functionalities. 

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Stay updated on SAP innovations, including SAP AI developments, to propose continuous improvements for SAP SD functionalities. 
  • Help optimize system performance to support Salomon’s ongoing commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • You possess 4-5 years of experience as a SAP SD Consultant, including project implementation and support, specifically in SAP S/4HANA. 
  • Previous experience in retail or e-commerce industries is a plus.  
  • Strong understanding of SAP SD, with experience in configuration and integration with other SAP modules.

Desired Qualifications

  • Languages: English fluency, French a plus
  • IT: SAP SD Certification with experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations. 
    • Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP CAR.
