The Arc’teryx People & Culture EMEA team is growing!
As Recruiter – Retail EMEA, you will lead attraction and acquisition strategies for our retail locations across EMEA (UK, France, DACH, Italy and Nordics).
You are a natural relationship builder and mentor, working in partnership with our Retail Leaders (Store Manager, Regional Manager, Director Retail EMEA) and field HRBP Retail EMEA to identify business needs and match them with phenomenal people.
You are an advocate and facilitator for our organization and strive to continuously evolve processes that contribute to an excellent candidate and employee experience. You love coming up with new ideas to make the recruitment process as attractive and fast as possible. You are a strong team player and love being part of projects of field focused recruiting projects.
You’ll be traveling about 30% of the time. This position is based in Garching, Germany and hybrid working is allowed (3 days onsite – 2 days at home). Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany.

You will work with collaborative team of energetic global recruiters who are focused on attracting and selecting the very best candidates for our corporate, manufacturing, and retail teams, while ensuring an incredible candidate experience every step of the way.
The TA team is supported by the Senior Employer Brand Strategist for our advertising, and online/offline recruiting strategies.
As your scope is EMEA, you’ll also partnering with the People & Culture EMEA Team. This team is composed of four team members.

If you were the Recruiter – Retail, EMEA now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Managing the full cycle recruitment for your business area in line with Arc’teryx’s overall talent strategy and leading strategic sourcing and pipeline activities in partnership with retail leaders across EMEA
  • Implementing effective recruitment strategies for all our futures New Store Opening Projects across EMEA
  • Leading the improvement of the skills of managers in your areas of expertise by providing training, guidelines, feedback, etc.
  • Partnering to develop unique EMEA retail employer branding strategies and implementation of our Early Careers EMEA program
  • Helping to enhance constantly our processes while seeking ways to improve workflows to maximize efficiencies and our Time to Hire / Time to File
  • Coordinating with the different HR teams to ensure new employees are hired and onboarded seamlessly

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Leading conversations around the development and execution of long-term talent and pipeline strategies to meet departmental needs and objectives (ex: retail careers path, internal mobility)
  • Offering market insight and data to support HR Business Partners and senior retail leaders through strategic headcount decisions
  • Supporting the HR EMEA team with cross functional projects and hiring commitments as required
  • Supporting as a team in others hiring area (eg: corporate positions)

Are you our next Recruiter – Retail EMEA?

  • You have 5 years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience in fast-paced work environment (retail, hospitality, food & beverage) across EMEA with a great understanding of the DACH region
  • You master LinkedIn Recruiter and ideally you have already worked with Lever
  • You have an excellent command of the English and German language
  • You have strong interpersonal skills with a positive and approachable work ethic, and an evident desire and ability to build strong relationships with a customer-service focused mentality
  • You are a firm supporter of diversity in the workplace, and you lead by example
  • You are a team player, able to collaborate effectively with various teams
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity and you seek for improvement
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
