DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-season strategy building, assortment plan and buying.
- Work with merchant team in markets and provide specific product needs/input / pre-season forecast based on distribution & wholesale consumer profile and needs.
- Forming merchandising strategy for retail and wholesale partners for distributor markets in APAC. Advise the OTB plan in collaboration with Demand planning, sales and merchandising team.
- Work with merch team on assortment package and build up store assortment plan. Partner with distribution and wholesale partners to understand the channel trends and consumer needs and conclude seasonal door profile for further buying.
- Lead the buying process and plan SKU depth through both sales and share analysis (Top down) and “by month/by family sales forecast (bottom up)”
- Analyze size based on sold, ST, and finalized seasonal size curve and size order.
- Work with distribution and wholesale partners and support them for mono store assortment, share the best practice from planning/assortment.
- Review sell through monthly. Take necessary adjustment on monthly buy based on sales trend, update financial forecast, stock rolling forecast.
- Provide store assortment/launch map to distributors and wholesale partners and VM team before seasonal kick off.

In-season & off-season performance management
- Conduct sales forecast for HOKA on seasonal basis to track the business opportunity and risks. Also match back with monthly buying plan to adjust the units.
- Drive promotion pricing strategy to deliver target sales and margin and protect brand image.
- Provide weekly/monthly merchandising analysis on sales trends, excess opportunities, or potential risk, then react accordingly. Making sure that business KPI is on track. (Sales/Sell-thru%/Margin%)
- Review price by monthly, work with cat. merchant and EC planning /demand planning team for monthly clearance price adjustment.
- Provide assortment for new store opening.
- Partner with Distribution and wholesale partners to do regular store visit and collect products/promotion feedback to better understand customer needs and sales trends.
- Collaborate with merchandising planning and inventory team to optimize all channels business opportunity.
- Participate in the maintain & development of analysis tool and database.

Control and manage allocation and segmentation implementation through regular market visits
- Lead allocation to ensure assortment plan been perfect executed.
- Ensure product arrive to store timely based on launch plan.
- Ensure retail execution of the plan
- Ensure stock flow and promotions (end of season) are executed and flow to outlet implemented
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Any Certifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree or above
Year(s) of Experience & Background Required
7-8 years’ experience in Retail Merchandising and Planning areas preferably
Functional & Technical Competencies
Strong office skill, especially in excel. Sense in both data and merchandise, sports industry is preferred. Efficient communication with cross-functional teams. Good in spoken and written English. Team player. Able to work under pressure.
