We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Machine Operator to operate a state-of-the-art, fully automated sports shoe manufacturing line in Zurich.
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines that incorporate a polymer extrusion process, automation, and robotics in a production setting.
As Production Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the machinery, conducting regular maintenance, and addressing any minor issues that may arise during production.

Your mission

As a Production Machine Operator you will:
– Operate production machines that utilise extrusion, automation, and
robotics technology
– Set up machines for production runs according to specifications and
quality standards
– Monitor machine performance during production to ensure output meets
quality requirements
– Conduct routine maintenance on the machinery to prevent downtime and
ensure optimal performance
– Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues that may impact production
efficiency
– Follow established production schedules to meet output targets.
Maintain thorough and accurate records of production activities and
machine maintenance
– Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production
processes and efficiency
– Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working
environment

Your story

-Technical training or certification is a plus
– Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a production environment,
with knowledge of polymer extrusion, automation, and robotics
– Ability to operate and maintain production machinery effectively
– Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
– Attention to detail and ability to follow production schedules and
quality standards
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to
changing priorities
– Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe
workplace
– You are able to communicate in English
