The world’s fastest growing premium sports brand is looking for a Key Account Manager, to support the acceleration of the brand in the Southern Europe Region (Italy, France, Spain, Portugal). On is revolutionizing performance-driven products in footwear, apparel and accessories market by launching cutting-edge innovation, with a firm commitment to sustainability and social impact.
As part of this journey towards being the most desired sportswear brand globally, On is expanding its focus on Performance All Day/ Lifestyle products and is looking for a passionate KAM to connect us to the right accounts via the most dynamic high-end and influential premium sportswear retail channels.
You will be the driving force of On Sportswear offense in some of the most sophisticated and premium markets globally, home of global fashion capitals such as Milano and Paris. You will strategically prospect, develop and manage our most premium sportswear key accounts in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal to elevate the presence of the brand in these key markets. You will report to the Head of Sales, Italy, with constant exchanges with the Heads of Sales France and Iberia.
Your mission
– Strengthening and prioritizing strategic relationships with key accounts in the Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese markets.
– Developing new client relationships, in line with On’s global strategy and with a focus on sports / lifestyle
– Driving sell-in growth, enhancing customer loyalty, boosting sell-out in partnerships with your cross-functional team, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
– Help the product team developing and merchandising credible and high-end consumer propositions
– Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met and utilizing your industry expertise to ensure the success of On’s brand.
– Leveraging reporting dashboards to make data informed decisions and guide account plannings.
– Staying ahead of the curve on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities
– Leading internal and external account discussions. Preparing and delivering sales presentations in a meaningful and engaging way.
– Supporting customer cross-functional teams to foster strong relationships, address concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
– Maintaining all sales related budgets with identified Key Accounts.
– Bridging global strategy to the local market trends.
Your story
– 3-5 yrs experience in a senior KAM role or similar strategic client management position; preferably within sportswear or luxury footwear and apparel, fashion design or premium consumer goods industries. You built partnerships in the B2B channels, prospecting, onboarding and managing key accounts.
– A proven track record in working with the management of the most sophisticated and elevated lifestyle accounts: you know exactly who the “tastemakers” are in the Lifestyle industry in Europe, you understand the dynamics of their go-to-market processes, and you can act as a credible counterpart in discussing sport, fashion and lifestyle trends eye-to-eye with key stakeholders (accounts, media, influencers).
– Strong understanding of sports and lifestyle industry dynamics and consumer trends; including key players, consumer preferences, and market dynamics. You show affinity and passion for the sports world: we are expanding in sportswear, but performance sport is our DNA and it’s where our roots will remain grounded.
– You have a real motivation towards sustainability, with the desire of producing tangible impact.
– You thrive in collaborative and cross-functional teams where team spirit, transparency and collaboration at any time are non-negotiable: we build the future together and there isn’t a defined process for that. You’re a team player always seeking to add value, suggest improvements, and stay ahead of market trends to provide innovative solutions to On’s key accounts.
– You’ve a strategic vision but you will get stuck-in and be hands-on when needed.
– You solve problems analytically and in a very structured way, analyzing data, interpreting trends, and making data informed decisions.
– You’re self motivated, resourceful and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously to bring to life our teams’ commitments with rigor, transparency and discipline: we act like athletes.
– You have good Excel and PowerPoint skills.You enjoy connecting with customers to present our products, technology and philosophy in an inspiring way and are empowered when presenting to a group.
– Fluent or C2 level Italian and English are a must. French and Spanish are a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Type B driving license and fully comfortable to travel by car for business. Willingness to travel, extensively at times, within Europe: you’ll often be on the road.
– You are based within proximity to Milano
