Your role:

We are in business to save our home planet. The role of eCommerce Trade Coordinator will help us achieve this by executing, implementing and continuously driving a balanced eCommerce Trading Strategy with the aim to grow, engage and activate our customer base supporting our purpose ‘we’re in business to save our home planet’. 

The eCommerce Trade Coordinator is responsible for trading on eu.patagonia.com. The role owns commercial targets and delivering commercial results in line with Patagonia’s purpose. The eCommerce Trader collaborates with rest of the Trading team and various functions with the aim of achieving monthly and yearly targets for the eu.patagonia.com ecommerce site in alignment with the other sales channels.  

Main tasks:

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day trading reporting of Eu.patagonia.com and own trading KPIs collaborating with other functions to generate relevant reporting daily, weekly, monthly result vs targets  

  • Own the eCommerce Forecasting processes, execution and submission for Eu.patagonia.com 

  • Shape, implement and collaborate on eCommerce trading strategy to meet Patagonia’s eCommerce objectives engaging key stakeholders across all areas of the business  

  • Collaborate with the Digital Analyst and the Sales Analytics team, unlocking greater insights, testing hypothesis, driving conversion and improving customer experience  

  • Feed into the product strategy with data & insights from e-commerce sales 

  • Collaborate with the digital Marketing team to optimize marketing tactics and align the marketing calendar  

  • Stay up to date and provide e-Commerce, conversion and trading best practices and translate these to strategies suitable to Patagonia’s approach to trading 

  • Positively impact and influence internal stakeholders and external partners 

  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with company stakeholders and partners  

  • Act and think from a customer and community member perspective 

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree in business, marketing, commerce or a related field or equivalent years working 

  • 3-5 years min experience in eCommerce Trading and/or a related area 

  • Experience working with Power Bi, Google Analytics, Tableau or similar tools to support data and reporting 

  • Knowledge and experience with Trading and Forecasting processes  

  • An understanding of e-Commerce business, KPI’s and intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment 

  • Knowledgeable of analytical tools for performance measurement, determine improvements and innovations 

  • Fluent in English; other languages (German, French and Italian) are a plus 

  • Top notch analytical skills. Proficient in analysing and interpreting the data to drive business decisions 

  • Strong communications and influencing skills 

  • Ability and preference to work with a team in a collaborative environment 

  • Ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines while maintaining data integrity and accuracy, and effective communication  

  • Proven ability to contribute to the strategy while managing details of implementing and running the day-to-day of eCommerce trading 

  • Strong problem identification and escalation/reporting skills. 

  • Experience working with in an international business environment 

Other important details:

  • This is a temporary full-time position, based in Amsterdam intended to support the team until approximately September 2025. If you’re successful in the selection process, we will offer you a contract until September 2025.

  • We have a hybrid work model, working from home for maximum 3 days per week
