JOB MISSION: 

The Finance Analyst role will be required to work alongside EMEA Regional HQ & International Finance teams. This role will be pivotal in providing support during the monthly financial close, forecast planning, and system implementation projects. 

The person in this position will step in to a critical role during an 18-month fixed term cover. 

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Preparation of rolling forecast and monthly close EPM Data. 

  • Review and maintain General Ledger systems policies, procedures, and process mapping, minimising the potential for reporting issues. 

  • Preparation and distribution of BI financial data to EPM platform Oracle. 

  • Understanding, reconciling, and communicating variances identified across month end and forecast system submissions. 

  • ERP Sales Control account and BI Application reconciliation. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve finance related system issues. 

  • Provide a consistent and approachable point of contact for stakeholders. 

  • Train and support finance team members in the use of financial systems and processes. 

  • Preparation of year end audit information. 

  • Collaborate with International Finance Teams to drive system implementations across ERP & EPM alongside to ad hoc business requirements. 

  • Administration of UK Profit & Loss + Balance Sheet schedules. 

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: 

  • Relevant number of years’ experience in a financial role, preferably systems related. 

  • Relevant degree in accounting or related discipline. 

  • Proficient at managing large data sets with a high degree of accuracy using advanced excel and financial analysis skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Experience in GL maintenance, understanding structure and links between General ledger and management reporting.  

  • Detailed and methodical by nature with a strong process orientation. 

  • Team player with great interpersonal skills and capable of building strong relationships with key stakeholders. 

  • Ability to work accurately and independently and work to tight deadlines. 

  • Can manage priorities in a dynamic environment. 

  • Motivated with proactive approach and desire to succeed.
