Your role:
We are in business to save our home planet. You’ll be helping us achieve this by fulfilling a key management position within Patagonia’s EMEA region, responsible for aligning Merchandise Financial Planning, Demand Planning, and Supply & Inventory Planning with the region’s strategic goals. By ensuring the availability of the right products in the right quantities, this role supports the execution of Patagonia’s purpose while optimizing sales, margins, and inventory health across all channels.
Main tasks:
Strategic Planning and Leadership
• Lead and oversee EMEA Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), Demand Planning, Supply & Inventory Planning, and in-season re-forecasting.
• Develop and maintain regional long-range merchandise financial plans aligning financial targets with region, channel and product strategies in collaboration with channel leadership, Finance and Merchandising.
• Develop and maintain seasonal merchandise financial plans, communicating effectively with channel leadership and Merchandising teams to ensure efficient and accurate planning of sales and related purchasing of inventory to support aligned financial targets.
• Actively participate in the development of Integrated Business Planning process and tools.
• Drive adoption of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and new planning system within the EMEA region to align cross-functional strategies and ensure effective decision-making.
• Collaborate with Global functions in the US to align EMEA strategies with global goals while tailoring solutions to regional needs.
Demand Planning
• Manage monthly demand planning processes, integrating historical data, market intelligence, and trends to create accurate sales and inventory forecasts.
• Ensure timely and accurate data submissions to global counterparts and manage cross-functional communication for sales and inventory forecast adjustments.
• Lead seasonal buy meetings, consolidating input from Wholesale, Retail, Ecommerce, and Finance teams to align with business goals.
Inventory and Supply Management
• Optimize inventory health by balancing over- and undersold scenarios, improving inventory turnover, and reducing aged stock.
• Oversee allocation strategies and In season re-forecasting to ensure appropriate stock levels by warehouse, channel and store, meeting sales objectives and minimizing waste.
• Drive initiatives to improve demand, supply, and inventory management through data-driven insights and collaboration.
S&OP Leadership and Reporting
• Lead the EMEA S&OP process, aligning demand, supply, and inventory planning with sales and margin objectives.
• Provide visibility into key performance indicators, including sales, inventory aging, forward weeks of supply, and forecast accuracy.
• Develop scenario planning and propose actionable solutions for risks and opportunities.
• Ensure timely communication of monthly regional S&OP output to Global planning team and participate in monthly global S&OP meeting.
Team Leadership and Development
• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Ensure the team is equipped with the tools, processes, and training needed to thrive in their roles.
System and Process Improvement
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement new planning systems and processes, driving efficiency and consistency.
• Act as a change leader, guiding the team and organization through the IBP implementation and continuous improvement initiatives

Experience and Skills
• An inclusive mindset
• 8–10 years of experience in demand and inventory planning within a complex, international, multi-channel environment
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, Business, or a related field
• Proven success in merchandise financial planning, forecasting, and inventory management
• Strong experience with ERP & planning systems (e.g., Impact Analytics, Microsoft D365), business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and advanced Excel skills
• Strong people management and leadership abilities
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus
• A love of the outdoors
• A passion for saving our home planet and making a positive impact through your work
It’s a plus if you also have the following:
• Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and system implementations
Other important details:
• This is a Full-time position based in Amsterdam
• We have a hybrid work model, working from home for maximum 3 days per week
