- Communications Trainee - Anywhere

Are you passionate about corporate communications and ready to kickstart your career in a dynamic, global environment? We’re looking for a Communications Trainee to join our Group Communications team in Helsinki, Finland. This 3–4 month fixed-term position starts in May or early June.

Ideal for a student or recent graduate, you’ll support Amer Sports in building and protecting our global reputation, creating engaging communications, and strengthening our brand. You’ll collaborate with communications professionals in Helsinki and Shanghai, offering strategic support to our colleagues and leaders.

What you will be doing:

• Content ideation, creation, and publishing for Amer Sports-owned communication channels, in collaboration with our brands and Group functions.
• Support creation and coordination of all-employee newsletter.
• Simple photo and video editing and basic graphic design.
• Supporting our HR team in local communications and employee recreational activities at our Helsinki office.
• Supporting colleagues around the organization in communications topics.
• Participating in measuring and monitoring the impact of our work.
• Other communication, coordination, and project management tasks as needed and agreed.

In addition, responsibilities and tasks can be tailored according to your own areas of interest.

What you need to succeed:

• Ongoing studies or a degree in communications or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Strong motivation for a career in corporate communications.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Good digital skills and a willingness to learn new tools.
• Some prior work experience in communications (e.g., summer jobs or internships).
• Excellent interpersonal skills – a strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive and hands-on approach – a can-do attitude, courage to ask questions, and eagerness to learn and grow.

What we consider a plus:

• Photo editing and basic graphic design skills (e.g., Photoshop, Canva).
• Video creation and editing experience (e.g., Storykit or other tools).
• Experience in website content management (e.g., WordPress), writing for the web, and basic SEO knowledge.
• Publishing and managing content in SharePoint intranet sites.
• Familiarity with AI tools (for ideation, content creation – text and image).
