Pattern Maker Apparel 2D and 3D

 

As a pattern maker at Scott, you will apply your profound knowledge of pattern making, block pattern development and grading. You will develop new patterns for advanced performance apparel across all categories such as cycling, running, mountain and winter sports, based on our brand fit guidelines to ensure a strong and consistent brand fit.

The 2D CAD & 3D software ensure efficiencies and a state-of-the art development process. As part of a growing team of fit experts you will support the development team in the fitting process.

 

Tasks:

  • Utilize 2D Patternmaking CAD Assyst & CLO 3D software
  • Create Patterns based on sketches, photos or reference samples
  • Executing pattern from 1st prototype through bulk production
  • Managing consistency in measurements and fit through all categories
  • Guide fittings and work closely with the design, product management and development team to execute fit intent
  • Virtual 3D Development of Style on Clo3D for digital fittings & sales presentation
  • Self-responsible development of virtual products under collaboration of Product Management, Design & Development
  • Preparing fabrics & trims libraries for the 3D database
  • Rendering on high quality level for sales presentation & virtual showrooms

 

 

We expect:

  • Degree in Textile/Garment Engineering
  • In-depth knowledge in performance textiles
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in sports apparel industry
  • Understanding of patterns and the ability to translate it into different fits
  • Experienced on CAD Assyst and CLO 3D system
  • Knowledge of all aspects related to the production of apparel with strong emphasis on workmanship of functional garment construction and fitting
  • Experience in product development would be beneficial
  • English business fluent & very good knowledge of German or French with an extensive technical vocabulary
  • Good negotiation and conflict management skills and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experienced working with a PDM system, good skills in Microsoft-Office & Adobe Illustrator
