ABOUT THE TEAM

Located in our EMEA headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), the Supply Chain department covers distribution operations of our Columbia and Sorel brands for our European market and our international distributors around the globe. The department includes around 20 people and is split into 3 teams: Regional Logistics, Omni-Channel Planning Europe, and International Distributors Operations.

The Regional Supply Chain team's goal is to provide our Customers and Consumers with our entire Outdoor Apparel and Footwear portfolio with the best possible service and efficiency. Meeting this objective will require our teams to plan our Demand volume, execute a Production plan, handle Customer orders, and distribute our products up to the final delivery, according to business requirements. Finally, we constantly measure and improve our performance over time to meet our business goals.

ABOUT THE POSITION

During this 6-month internship, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the key challenges and opportunities within the Supply Chain function. Your role will combine operational tasks and project-based work to give you a well-rounded experience of how a global supply chain operates in the sporting goods industry.

You’ll support the team in two main ways:

Support daily operations to ensure high service levels and build your understanding of how a supply chain runs in real time.

Contribute to improvement projects that enhance the efficiency, visibility, and performance of our end-to-end processes.

Here are some examples of the missions and projects you could work on:

  • Oversee the forecast projection, buying strategy, and inventory management for our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels, including outlet stores and e-commerce.
  • Analyze sales trends and optimize stock levels to make sure our customers always find what they need — when they need it.
  • Ensure smooth and cost-effective supply chain operations, working closely with Planning, Logistics, and Distribution teams.
  • Work on logistics cost optimization and help improve transfer management to our international distributors — aiming for higher efficiency and profitability.
  • Participate in meetings with Sales and Operations teams to present analytics and share recommendations.
  • Develop dashboards and tools to better monitor supply chain performance and forecast accuracy.
  • Propose and implement automation solutions to simplify our forecasting and fulfillment processes.

Throughout your internship, you will be coached and supported by experienced and friendly professionals, eager to share their expertise. You will evolve in a multicultural, collaborative environment where learning and curiosity are celebrated.

ABOUT YOU

  • You’re currently pursuing a Master’s degree with a strong analytical focus – such as Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Engineering, or Data Science – and looking for a 6-month internship in the sportswear, consumer goods, or fashion industry.
  • You are available from September 2025 until February 2026 to complete this internship
  • Curious and proactive, you like asking questions, digging into data, and understanding the bigger picture behind the numbers. You’re comfortable working with Excel and Power BI and enjoy using these tools to turn insights into action.
  • You’re structured, reliable, and take full ownership of your work. You enjoy collaborating with others, but also know how to work independently. Your mindset is both analytical and solution-oriented — and you’re eager to contribute, grow, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

⚠️ IMPORTANT⚠️

It is mandatory that the internship is a part of your studies, and you must provide an internship agreement from your school or university. Full-time availability for 6 months is required.
