Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Senior Sales Manager (DACH region) to join our Sales team based in Munich, Germany.

Let’s Talk about the Role

In this role as a Senior Sales Manager DACH region, you will be required to lead the multi-brand wholesale commercial strategy and grow sales through a clear marketplace strategy.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:  

  • Developing a 3-year business plan for the DACH market, including strategic account and distribution plans. Conducting regular reviews with key wholesale partners and contributing to brand strategy and GTM planning to maximize business potential.

  • Driving the next phase of growth through a clear marketplace strategy, constantly optimising distribution in the right consumer environments aligned to brand strategy.

  • Communicating business plans clearly with regular updates against pre-defined KPIs.

  • Leading by example and effectively manage, the sales team and agencies to deliver the sales and profit targets for the DACH area.

  • Coaching and developing the Sales Team, elevating performances and development opportunities.

  • Obtaining and analysing regular sales performance data for key accounts to identify risks and opportunities, driving seasonal sales strategies, and ensuring the clear communication of insights to the wider team on a monthly basis.

  • Effectively negotiating and overseeing the trade terms and investment strategy for all accounts in market, to maximise VF’s margin requirements.

  • Working closely with your colleagues across the Company, particularly those covering the same accounts as yourself to ensure that you are fully aware of VF’s activity in the account and that all opportunities for VF brands are maximised.

  • Maintaining and further developing relationships with key accounts at head office level.

  • Working closely with the regional merchandiser and planning department to ensure the market range selection drives sales and sell through in market. Providing accurate pre-book and replenishment forecasts and agreeing delivery dates in-line with customer requirements.

  • Ensuring the brand purpose and seasonal product stories are effectively communicated in the market, maintaining consistency with global brand messaging, and maximizing brand visibility across all relevant accounts.

  • Providing regular feedback to the wider European leadership team, covering the marketplace, competitor activity and product development.

  • Completing all administration accurately, on time and to a high standard.

Skills for Success

  • Ability to drive business growth and profitability through strategic decision-making and leadership.

  • Expertise in developing and executing strategies to optimize distribution and brand visibility in the market.

  • Experience in GTM management.

  • Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop sales teams, fostering growth and improving performance.

  • Capability to analyse sales data to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize sales strategies.

  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and German is required.
