Amer Sports Global Business Services is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Record to Report Accounting Assistant to support the timely and high-quality execution of accounting operations. This role involves managing activities within the Record to Report process, including General Ledger, Period End Closing, Fixed Assets postings, and Lease postings. The ideal candidate thrives in a team environment, is eager to learn, and enjoys working in a dynamic setting.

What you will be doing:

• Maintaining fixed assets and assets under construction, including running depreciation.
• Executing closing tasks in accordance with the group schedule.
• Reconciling fixed assets and lease accounts.
• Assisting with interim and year-end audits.
• Communicating with customer service, sales organizations, and Financial Controllers to resolve issues and discrepancies.
• Identifying and suggesting process improvement opportunities within your area of responsibility.
• Adhering to internal control procedures and ensuring compliance with operational guidelines.
• Performing various accounting tasks, supporting additional projects, and meeting ad hoc requirements.
• Complying with all internal employment regulations and policies of Amer Sports and Amer Sports GBS.

What you need to succeed:

• Proficiency in English for effective communication.
• Educational background in Economics or Finance
• Solid knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
• Effective time and task management skills.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
