We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Material Quality Specialist to join our team dedicated to softgoods products (footwear and bags) for the EMEA scope.
Your role: Ensure material excellence at Salomon!
In this key position, you will play an essential role in ensuring the quality of materials and ensuring optimal collaboration between our raw material suppliers and our assembly plants.
Main Responsibilities:
- Audit: Conduct an annual audit in laboratories of the assembly plants as well as the raw material suppliers located in France, Italy, Spain, and Asia, to ensure their compliance with Salomon’s quality standards.

Process Implementation: Establish and oversee quality control processes for the laboratories of our assembly plant suppliers, providing specific support to laboratory equipment, particularly with Asian partners.

Material Quality Management: Provide ongoing support to the assembly plants and raw material suppliers on all matters related to material quality, while also managing the qualification of new materials.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of raw materials supplier through clear KPIs, while developing an action plan as needed to ensure the application of the Quality Assurance Program.

Documentation and Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the definition and implementation of KPIs, while ensuring that necessary documentation is updated to maintain optimal quality practices.

Qualifications
Your profile:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3) to Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Quality, Quality Management, or Product Design preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Laboratory experience required
- Experience in fashion, textiles, and/or outdoor industries is a plus
IT:
- Microsoft Office
Language:
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
