As part of our dynamic legal team, you will focus on monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) regulations, supporting our compliance efforts and sustainable business objectives. What you will be doing:

• Regulatory Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with emerging ESG regulations, standards, and industry best practices across key jurisdictions. Manage the monitoring tools.
• Legal Analysis: Interpret ESG-related legislation and provide actionable advice to internal stakeholders, including sustainability, supply chain, third-party risk management, and brand sustainability teams.
• Reporting: Support the preparation of ESG-related disclosures, compliance reports, and other documentation required by regulators, investors, or industry bodies.
• Policy Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ESG requirements.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential ESG compliance risks.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-corporation teams to ensure seamless flow of information to internal stakeholders.
• Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver training sessions to employees on ESG regulatory requirements and implications.

What you need to succeed:

• A degree in Law; a master’s degree or additional certification in ESG, sustainability, or corporate governance is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in legal or compliance roles, preferably within corporate or environmental law.
• Understanding of ESG principles, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability standards (e.g., EU Taxonomy, CSRD, CSDDD).
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• A genuine passion for sustainability and responsible business practices.
• Strong enthusiasm for sport, previous experience with sporting goods a plus.
• Experience from retail industry is a plus.
