Whether you’re looking to jump start your career or gain first hands-on experience in a new field, an internship at On offers you a unique growth experience, the chance to make an impact from day 1 and contribute to On’s growth journey. We are looking for fresh ideas, curious minds and passionate individuals ready to make a difference. Our internships generally last 6 months and you will be fully embedded in a team.
– Start date: March 1st, 2025
– Duration: 6 months
– Prerequisite: Interest in area relevant to the internship, passion for On, right to work in Germany / Switzerland

Your mission
– Support product manager in creating and executing the roadmap to optimize and standardize product and engineering processes.
– Identify inefficiencies and inconsistencies in existing workflows and recommend tailored improvements
– Collaborate with Product Managers in order to optimize processes across product teams (Scrum or Kanban Frameworks, Definition of Done (DoD), Acceptance Criteria, Backlog Management, Success criteria and metrics)
– Collaborate with engineering teams in order to optimize and standardize development practices (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) : pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment processes)
– Evaluate and recommend success criteria and metrics (e.g., lead time, deployment frequency, error rates) and ensure alignment across teams
– Evaluate and drive jira automation of repetitive tasks to reduce manual work and enhance team productivity in collaboration with engineering and product teams
– Train teams on new processes and tools to ensure smooth transitions
– Foster a culture of experimentation and adaptability to continuous improvement.
Your story
– Basic understanding of Product Management, Agile, Lean, and DevOps principles and practices.
– Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
– Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and CI/CD platforms or willing to gain experience
– Ability to inspire teams and build consensus in diverse, cross-functional environments
– Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in ambiguity
