JOB MISSION:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team responsible for the Transactional management of all Ecommerce, Marketplace and OMNI Channel transactions for New Balance across EMEA, currently operating in 19 Ecommerce markets and 22 Marketplace markets, and ever growing. The key aspects of the role will be transactional reconciliation, variance and discrepancy investigation, and building stakeholder relationships within the Finance and wider project teams. The ideal candidate will be solution minded and data driven.

Please note, this role is an initial 6-month contract.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Marketplace Ecommerce Accounting

  • Responsible for the Reconciliation of transactions within the ERP & Payment platforms for Ecommerce & Marketplaces across the UK & EU

  • Marketplace Commission Reconciliations

  • Marketplace discount invoice Reconciliation

  • Deal with Digital Ecommerce & Marketplace queries/disputes, liaising with internal departments to reach a timely & efficient solution.

  • Responding to 3rd party & internal Digital Customer Service Teams regarding payment/refund queries

  • Support on Audit

  • Investigate OMNI & Marketplace variances and discrepancies.

Month End Reporting

  • Timely provision of data to assist with Monthly Marketplace and Ecommerce accruals.

  • Calculation & Posting of Monthly Accruals relating to Commission, Fees & Goodwill

  • Update and provide commentary on Monthly Marketplace & Ecommerce Tracker

  • Chargeback and Goodwill Reporting

Digital Project Support

  • Support Digital Accounting Manager and wider Digital Team on any new and ongoing projects.

  • Attending regular project calls

  • Support testing of Digital project implementations

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Experience working within a busy/fast paced Finance team.

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Data Driven

  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivots/Vlookups)

  • Solution minded, with a Growth mindset and able to adapt well to change.

  • Ability to develop and build good customer relations both internally & externally.

  • Able to organise & prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines.

  • Full or part AAT Qualified (Desirable)
