As the Data Engineer for Supply Chain Digital Transformation, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures that will unlock the power of data for advanced analytics. What you will be doing:

  • Design and Develop Data Pipelines: Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines to support data science projects and advanced analytics for supply chain operations.
  • Data Integration & Consistency: Integrate data from multiple sources to improve consistency and availability, ensuring high-quality data for analytics.
  • Automation & Efficiency: Automate ETL processes to reduce manual intervention, increase efficiency, and improve data processing times.
  • Data Quality & Monitoring: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure 99% uptime and continuous data flow, identifying and resolving data quality issues.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver impactful analytics solutions that drive business value.
  • Cloud and Big Data Technologies: Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data tools (e.g., HDFS, Spark, Hive) to acquire, ingest, and transform large datasets.
  • Security & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to information security standards and industry best practices for data governance, privacy, and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to cross-functional problem-solving sessions, share knowledge with the team, and deliver presentations on technical solutions and advancements.

What you need to succeed:

  • Relevant Experience: 3-5 years in data engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in building data pipelines and working with cloud platforms.
  • Technical Proficiency (Desirable): Proficient in Python, Java, or Scala; strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases; experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; familiarity with data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and Big Data platforms (e.g., HDFS, Spark, Hive).
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Data Engineering Expertise: Experience in building scalable data pipelines, automating ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity across structured and unstructured data.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on optimizing data workflows and solving complex technical challenges.
  • Collaborative Communication: Ability to work in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and drive alignment on data initiatives.
